This is a collection of games I made when I was a kid. They are very small and I made them to get the hang of game making. I plan on making more collections with hopefully better and more interesting games. I added an achievement system to the collection too just for fun. Maybe something will happen when you unlock all the achievements?

Duckie Bouncer:
Keep the bomb out of the bathtub to win the game. Use left and right on the control pad to move the rubber duck toy.

Mario Mazes:
Use the control pad arrows to move mario through various mazes. Collect all the coins in a maze to complete the level. If you are stuck check the arrow at the top to help you figure out where the last coins are.

Emoticon Fun:
Soccer: Use arrow keys and enter to score goals. This one is just for fun.
Airplane soar: Use left on the control pad to fly. Press right+down and right+up to steer. Collect all the hearts to unlock the "wings of love" achievement.
Dodge the lamb: Use the arrow keys to dodge rabid far animals for 60 seconds.
Nerd Maze controls the same way as Mario Mazes except you just have to get to the end of the maze to win.

I will put up a blog that will describe how to unlock all the achievements. Check my profile for that.

Press ESC at any time to return to the game select screen. Thanks for checking it out!

I don't think people realize how much of a gem this actually is. This isn't really a game as much as a peek into the mind of a game-creator when he was still very young, just learning how to do things. In that capacity, I find it fascinating. I don't know if people are reading the Backstory page, but it tells quite a bit about your state-of-mind as a child and what influences and psychological factors went into these projects. Not many programmers include commentaries.

As far as the games go, they're obviously flawed. Duck Bounce is a Breakout clone with wonky physics and graphics glitches. Emoticon Fun is more of a test run for your ideas, with three incredibly easy games and one that very hard (Airplane Soar). Mario Maze is the best of the lot, and it's really a fun little jaunt. The music is also pretty good throughout the collection.

Also, I appreciate the ability to leap back to the main menu at anytime by hitting ESC. This is, after all ,a collection. Some programmers forget things like that.

Oh, the good old days XD games are kinda okay I guess, Duckie Bouncer is Breakout, Mario Mazes is a weird maze game, and Emoticon Fun is a couple of minigames including emoticons.
