that was a pretty simple game(although i'm not an expert), but wasn't that bad, as a 48 hours-game-made, so it is acceptable
but the game does not evolve, no background changes, and no new enemies.
Just could be nice if the mothership evolves its looking after eating some
quantity of ships(like changing color, creating new body parts, mutating, get bigger, etc)
For the ones who are getting some problem with the 'difficulty level' of the game:
Try using your 'abduction laser' to destroy enemies incoming projectiles( the purple ones) and use other airplanes to deflect incoming missiles
Very cool idea, you should get points for destroying ships but not as much if you dont eat them. gg
You're right :) Thanks!
I enjoyed it. There's something about being an unstoppable abducting machine that countless jets throw themselves carelessly at... accept I'm very stoppable. Can't seem to break the 60s threshold. I would love to see a sequel to this concept with purchasable upgrades such as stronger tractor beams or better shielding.
Thanks! We're already thinking about making some cool update :) We should make something soon, so you can have even more fun :)
I enjoyed this game very much and for 48 hours work it is very good.
It does become repetitive after a few rounds but what do you expect for 48 hours?
The game does have a lot of potential if developed, such as advancing rounds with more of more variety of enemy, maybe advancing weaponry and armour. Maybe even across a time line?
Either way, this was a fun time killer, and the art work was good,
Hey! Thanks! We're glad you had fun playing :) You're suggestions are good :) Just I wonder what do you mean by "across a time line"? Was it that aircrafts change with the time? So for example after some time the ones from the beginning won't appear anymore, but instead a more difficult version of them?
I don't think this deserves 5 stars. I think it deserves around 3 or 4. Because it was fun to play but it got boring after a while and I became confused as to how I was being hit.
But, I am giving it 5, because I think that if you spent more time on it, it would have been quite an amazing game. So I encourage you to please try again.
Hey! Thanks! We would love to develop this proof of concept into fully fledged game :) I hope that we will!
