Oy... OY. Hold up... Before I inevitable rip this to shreds, why am I playing this? Why on earth did I decide to play this? I could've been playing Madness, or Road of the Dead, or even Thing Thing... But I play this... I amaze myself.
OK, I'll be semi nice. Here's everything good I have to say about it: It works. You, Mr. Nxt101, managed to program a game better than Weasel did with TTAPro, hooray. OK, that's a dig at Weasel done. Check.
Now for everything I don't like: A) It's silent. OK, I admit, I've never made a game before, but I've animated, and I know it's not too hard to put on background music. B) I could recreate this in freakin Scratch, that's how simple this game is. C) There is, at MOST 5 minutes of gameplay here. It's a COMPLETE waste of time. I can guarantee that I will go to sleep tonight, and have no memory of this game in the morning.
To sum it up, it's bad. Really bad. But, it works, and that's something. I'll leave you with a word of advice, if you continue to make games, explore your mind. Don't ever make a cut and dry game, EVER. If you have a vision for a game, go for it. I don't and you shouldn't care if it's beyond your capabilities, you go for that dream. If everyone who made games did that, this gaming world would be a better place. Newgrounds is a safe haven for the inventors and innovators in gaming. Utilize it, and fuel it.
I'm going to give you one star simply because I am a Whovian. With that said you've got several flaws in this game:
1) The obvious is K9. Kemad said it best by saying "Why would the Doc want to shoot K9!?" K9 was one of several companions to The Doctor.
2) Why make a Dr. Who themed missile defense/space invaders game?
3) What about other enemies? You have The Silence, Daleks, and were those Weeping Angels? There are several more to choose from.
4) I just beat the game and nothing happened. Big glitch there.
5) I'm still trying to figure out the point to this game. Were you just making a game because you could, or is this something building to something better?
Like I said overall 1 star cause I'm a Whovian.
