Skills Canada, for those of you unfamiliar with the event, Is an annual competition that promotes the growing workforce in Canada by recognizing certain individuals who surpass in their field (for animation a team of 2 is required). For the Nationals this year in 2D animation, the judges gave us an audio clip to make an animation over ( in this case it was a scene from the Benchwarmers) and gave us a total of 7 hours to give them the final rendered animation along with our storyboard, animatic and character creation sheets. It was really hard, but me and my partner managed to rank 5th in the country ( out of 7 total teams). I'm looking to enter next year!
