~This game is much better with an Xbox360 controller! Most browsers should auto-detect. Other controllers may also work, be sure to rebind the controls!~

~Best experienced in Chrome~

~If you're experiencing sound issues, try refreshing. The game can be a bit wonky when it's loading for the first time~

~To reset controls, press Backspace while on the keybinding screen~

**6/30/14 Undocumented Shadow Update

-Fixed some medals not unlocking

-Fixed medals unlocking repeatedly

-Adjusted Oscar Unlock scores

-Gamepad Medal is now worth 100 pts. Any USB controller should work, but if it doesn't, it's your browser's fault that the game doesn't recognize the controller.

**6/26/14 Update to Version 1.2**

What's new

-Medals. A lot of them

**YOU MAY NEED TO CLEAR THE GAME'S MEMORY TO UNLOCK THE OSCAR-BASED MEDALS**

-Faster Tally Screen

-Double jump!

-"Hold to fire" for keyboard players

-Clearer Menu controls

-Clearer purpose for Oscars

-Best Director now functions as a different play-style

-Best Screenplay works, more to be added later

-More animations for the dialogue box

-Restore default controls and reset everything else in the credits screen

-Twitter buttons in credits

**Version 1.1a**

-By popular demand, keybinding for keyboards and gamepads has been added! Many apologies to people using non-QWERTY keyboards. ALSO: I forgot to make it save your new schemes. That's been fixed.

(Currently analog sticks cannot be rebound, I'm looking into it. In the meantime d-pads work fine. If the game does not recognize some inputs from your controller, it is likely that your browser is not reading the inputs. There's not really anything I can do about that.)

-Increased the score cap required for that Thing.

-Added a more realistic default scoreboard

cool game, but it instantly turned to horror when i died. the game froze and the dialogue box was going fucking crazy, the sounds were getting louder and louder. fucking hell.

Good game but please fix medals!

I wrote a long review and the tab crashed, so let's try this again. The game still runs smoothly without too much of a slowdown. The mute button on the front page is praiseworthy. Graphics are decent as well. However, the medals do not send after you earn them. Having a medal game with broken medals defeats the point.

Not a bad game but the medals are broken to all hell.

In order to get medals to work for ONE PLAY you have to go to Credits, then press Delete, then press Backspace, then reload the page (F5 or click the reload button or click in the URL and press enter)

Then and only then the very next game you play will be able to obtain medals. Repeat this entire process if you want any medals at all. The second game, third game, etc after that you can't get medals unless you do it all over again like that.

This means you have to get absolutely everything on a single play, which is damn hard and frustrating. "I'd Like To Thank The Academy..." medal impossible to get as that would require at least TWO plays back-to-back!

I can't get "The Player Knows Best" to work at all and presumably that should award merely by changing the controls. I go with WASD for movement jumping and ducking, then use up and down arrow keys for gun aiming, and right arrow key for fire. It's hell on the right hand ring finger but it's really one of the only sane keyboard mappings.

I have no idea how to get "Now You're Playing With Power!" so I don't know if I should have earned that medal already or not. I have fought using the machine guns and the spreadfire as well as the gun activated by using the Best Gunfire oscar, so if one of those was supposed to unlock it, it didn't.

That's essentially three perpetually broken medals, with the rest of the medals only obtainable using the workaround in this reply, and only on the first game played after using said workaround, do absolutely everything in one go.

Also why in the hell don't the controls remain as you put them? If I go into change controls and I change the controls, those controls are only good for the very next play and then right after that they're back to default controls again.

The default controls are really weird.

Graphics and music are good, and overall gameplay is okay, if you change up the controls or use a gamepad. You really need to work on your medals code though. All those changes claiming you'd fixed medals problems? Nope, you haven't! And this makes for a very irritating playing experience when it shouldn't be irritating at all.

If anyone knows a workaround for "I'd Like To Thank The Academy...", "The Player Knows Best", or "Now You're Playing With Power!" I'd love to hear it. My workaround above should work for all the medals *except* those three.

That has to be one of the swankiest menus I've seen in a long time. This one's a favorite. I think the overall look/feel of it is actually better than the actual game part, but there's a lot going on here and I wouldn't know where to begin. I find myself just listening to the music sometimes and once in a while clicking up and down on the menu so i can see him pointing the gun up and down lol. Mad props to the musician, well the whole team. This came out as something very special and will probably be hard to top down the line. Thanks for sticking with it and coming out with a solid composition as a whole.
