Defend your ship from enemy hordes for as long as possible, use your mighty weapons to your advantages.
HOW TO PLAY
Use mouse to move your ship, it's powered by automatic firing system.
Press b or v to activate special weapon
Press the space bar to enter the upgrade menu
Collect yellow lights to upgrade your bullets, buy extra life and special weapons.
Fast-paced shooter with a very fluid gameplay. An obvious reference to the "Geometry Wars" graphics, which I don't mind, since "Helinon" is simply a well-made game.
Music fits damn good, the auto-fire function is smart and the upgrades (bullets, special weapons) are really helpful, not just some gimmicks.
Only things I miss here are medals or at least an NG-highscore-board to compare with other players. Still a very enjoyable, action-packed time-waster!
Very addicting, possibly a little too challenging on 'easy' mode however! Nicely done!
Good game. The obvious comparison here is Geometry Wars but the arcade action is still superb enough to stand up on its own.
This game is very fun to play good color, music and sound effects. Can you have enemies give out more light though because it takes a while to gain that extra life and upgrade bullets.
