This game reminded me of lemmings. I liked it!
Ummm its ok. I like the lemmings-esque feel, and an excellent job was done introducing each ability. But there is not much variety here. Nearly all of the levels (I quit somewhere in the middle of Hell) are stair puzzles. The walls could have been utilized to block enemies or fireballs that our passive dwarves could not have dealt with.
I had no issue with your controls and I love the way you used your interface with display on the bottom to remind players. This game had no bugs (for me), no control issues, but honestly its just kind of unfun after awhile.
The game is a bit to repetitive, it should have more controls rather than just "digging" , "building" and "speeding up". It'd be nice to see the game develop in some sort of way, by way of skill points, adding up to his stamina, strength, etc.
Also, power-ups would be a nice addition, that is if you implement dwarf-like enemy creatures. such as goblins, and other sieges. The levels are extremely short, maybe make each level a tad bit longer than the latter, and perhaps even harder as well.
Although this is cliché in the game realm, a lot of people seem to love it. (Which explains why there's a lot of them on here)
The same music that's in a loop can cause the game to get rather boring as well, making the game less interesting to play. Try using different themes and chip tunes in each level to keep the game fun and upbeat.
**The game is fun overall, but it still needs improvement**
Thanks for the feedback. We decided to leave out RPG elements in favor of a more classic puzzle platformer environment, but we will change the music up a bit!
edit: We added some music, check it out!
