After you click start, click the game field with your mouse. For some reason the Left and Right arrow keys don't work like they're supposed to until you do.
Just use the Left and Right arrow keys to turn Nick and stay away from the ants and the bears for as long as you can! The hit boxes are kind of unfair, but I'm still learning.
I'd like to add a way to keep a high score, but I couldn't figure it out in time to turn the assignment in... maybe later.
Graphics is bad and very inconsistent. Some elements looks good, but overall the game does not. The fonts also looks bad. The bug with the need to click for controls to work needs to be addressed. Apart from that, it's way to hard.
So there are many flaws, and the game idea itself isn't very interesting either. Sorry. Better luck next time.
Like I said before, this is my first game and it's not meant to be good. This was my final project for my animation class and I aced it :)
In what way do the fonts look bad? Maybe they're not showing up properly somehow?
I agree that the bug at the start does need to be taken care of. Do you know what's happening and how to fix it?
The game idea is to stay alive, similar to Pacman. If that's not interesting to you, that's your opinion lol
First: Nice Idea. I really like it. BUT: It doesn't work properly an there are too many enemies/ not enough space to run. It is impossible to survive longer than a few seconds.
It works properly, but that silly bug at the start makes it a pain, and I'm not sure how to fix it yet.
There are just the right amount of enemies and there are no borders so you can run off the left side and come out the right. Same with the top and bottom.
The only goal is to see how long you can survive. My best so far is 11 seconds. :)
