Star Pod

Star Pod is a space, hover ship game with aesthetically pleasing, flat shaded graphics and realistic hovering physics. It’s an addictive little game that completely absorbs the player as he/she tries to collect gold nuclear rings while avoiding malicious obstacles and controlling an erratic hover ship. There is also an element of puzzle solving in the game not too dissimilar to platformers.

A nice puzzle like element but some levels get really hard after a bit and that's expected nice game though

Good Game

I hate you for the last level though Hard as hell

Playdor responds:

Thanks, yeah the last level is a tough one! 1 star, was it that bad?

The difficulty curve on this is a little bit bonkers... Every single level before the last one, I did in less than 3 attempts and 10 seconds (with the exception of 9, which took two attempts because I restarted out of frustration and 51 seconds). But I must have tried dozens of times on that last one...

Since you went to the effort of making a "prologue" complete with a little bit of a story, I felt ripped off when there was no "epilogue" where would get to find out what "boozy" suzy and Johnny whatever are up to...

I will say that the controls were great, though... Usually games like this are touchy and make me swear a lot, but I found the ship surprisingly easy to control on most levels in this game. Kudos.

good concept I like it but the intro threw me off a little I really thought it would be an adventure into another world like metroid and I thought time wouldnt be on your side but still good game and id like to see more 3 out of 5 from me.

Thank you for your comments! :)

Pretty tight little game. The only thing I notice lacking is a bit of detail in the artwork (though in this regard, it's fine), however, a crucial subject missing from this game is the in-game music. Even if it was just a little jingle, I'm sure it would make a huge difference. No complaints aside from that minor one.

Thank you for the lovely feedback!
