I don't know if i'm just stupid or something, but I couldn't get the game to start. All I saw was a black screen with creepy-ass music(Good selection btw) If this is a glitch or something, please tell me. I really got interested in the game as I read comments and description.

I made this game for Ludum Dare 29 (this is NOT a post-jam version)and thought I would post it on newgrounds, mainly to see what the community here thinks.

Archaeologists discover the subterranean caverns of an ancient tribe, guarded by an ancient earth demon.
YOU are that demon.
**Instructions**- use the mouse
1Click to spawn yourself at the begining of each level
2You can only move through earth. Click nearby rocks to enter them, click nearby ground to exit
3Devour the intruders
r-reset level
m-mute sound
Leave a comment if you think the concept warrants being made into a further development.

The game should display a title screen when it starts up. Strange. Not sure why it would do that. What browser are you using?
Good game! I like the story, short and simple but effective :)
I think this game needs to be more "finished" in certain ways. Making the controls a little bit easier to handle, more levels, maybe a few more extra mechanics to make the game more interesting. It still is a very good start and a promising concept.
I also like the soundscape music a lot. Really creeps me out, really cool ^^
For reasons already stated, this could be better. Something not mentioned is the length. It's just short. But, I did enjoy it for about five minutes.

Understood. Due to the nature of the ludum dare I didn't have time to add more levels, but if I make a full version it will be longer.
I feel like you have the beginnings of a great game here. The controls need to be polished, the plot fleshed out, and mechanics added, but very promising start.

Pretty cool game though. I did find a bug however, I managed to beat the last level with one dude not eaten.
