Nice mix of vintage graphics, structured randomness and cool music!

tsherif responds:

Thanks, tristan1 :)

I understand this is supposed to be minimalist, but it feels like the game could use a little something extra. Not necessarily anything big. Also, horizontal movement feels too slow and clumsy compared to the extra-high jumps. You might be able to do better with another colour-scheme and the music, while pretty good, doesn't really fit the game.

tsherif responds:

Thanks for your thoughts, jpuroila. The player movement was pretty intentional. Since the game moves upward, I thought it made sense for the player's upward movement to have more force than the left or right. Also, I felt slowing down the horizontal movement made it easier to place yourself precisely on platforms and avoid accidentally falling off.

Simple and effective.

tsherif responds:

Thanks, Blaiktre :) Exactly what I was going for.

Too repetitive for my taste

I wish you had some achievements and maybe music

tsherif responds:

Thanks for the feedback, DjGubkafish. There is music. Is it not playing for you? If not, can you tell me what browser/version/OS you're using?

Interesting concept, are the blocks randomly generated each game? If so that would be pretty cool. Could use more features, maybe power ups or something like that. But if you're going for a simple game maybe just adding a leader board would help. Maybe even a changing atmosphere as you progress, something to look forward too.

tsherif responds:

Thanks for the feedback, tullym. Yes, the levels are randomly generated. I don't think power ups would quite fit with what I'm going for here, but the leaderboard idea is interesting, since it is a "high score"-type game. Haven't looked at the NG APIs yet, so I'll definitely look into that.
