its disrespectful to use real footage from a real war to sell some game.
its not good its like filming your grand father dying and then die and use it to sell a rock video.
a "culmination" of sorts from the previous ventures with the "Green Skies" series; this is a continuation of the said previous episodes, occurring about a year after the events in episode 4.
this is the introduction segment, and i'm currently working on the rest of the film, hopefully progressing fast - as january approaches i may release the next segment.
programs used: fraps, IL-2FB UP3RC4 4.10.1 (most game footage comes from that game), adobe flash (CS3), goldwave, audacity....... also magix movie edit pro; i converted the file to FLV format to bring down the file size to some manageable chunk as i am sure not all of us have blazing net speeds, me included.

uh, ok? if you take a look closely, the animation - or mostly fraps capture - isn't actually intended to sell a 13-year-old game. a little research would have revealed the age of the game. anyway, that was not my intention, and i apologize if it did offend some viewers in any way, as per usual in this politically correct world. but do try to watch the succeeding clips, these will actually make up the bulk of the story.
It does need more story, and I hope you get it finished soon so this all makes sense. The pictures at the beginning were gruesome for a game video. Was this supposed to be educational or a fan movie? The music was good.
oh don't worry, the succeeding episodes can make the rest of the story (i hope)...
the music actually took quite a while, i changed the "soundtrack" many times before finding something that fit the theme or the feel.. i am actually pleased that it is appreciated.
gruesome, well, yes and no. these photographs were actual wartime pics of -shudder- the aftermath of the bombing raids against cities, both allied and axis. as for the game, it's just a flight simulator. =)
pretty good man.
thank you. would be hoping to upload the rest of these by early next year.
