“What you are now we used to be; what we are now you will be...”

What happened to Lee in 2011's "Outpost:Haven" was only half the story. In comparison, Lee was the lucky one.

Spread over ten levels we go back and forth in time with both Lee and Jameson on Haven and the planet below to discover its secrets in this survival horror game.
Swarm mode makes a welcome return, with a greater depth of gameplay.
This time let's even the odds, with more weapons and multiple armor combinations the battle is truly on.

Please note, the specular lighting option requires a powerful machine. The game runs in low quality by default and is the recommended setting.

Chrome users, there's a bug if you quit out of fullscreen. Sorry it's out of our hands, so keep that in mind if you need to quit out ( The game saves often so not all is lost if it happens, but it's still annoying I know ).

Thanks to everyone whose taken the time to play / vote / review the game, you're the best.

Turn the lights off, the volume up, hit full screen and shoot some aliens.

the game is perfect.
the atmosphere is great, music, lights, sound... everything. It is much better than a lot of games i neend to pay for.
Yes it has a lot of bugs and lags, yes, sometimes it runs too slow but... but i get a lot of fun playing it.
thank you for this game.
and another thanks for the story written in messages.

I really like this game, and I also noticed that a couple of the sound effects used are from TF2. Like the ship's jets are the pyro's flamethrower sound effect, and the vulcan's rev up is the heavy's minigun rev up sound effect.

Squize responds:

Hey, thanks for the review.
Most of the sound effects came from public domain sound sites, so I'm hoping they were actually public domain and not ripped ( The atmospheric sounds were all bought as part of a package ).

Amazing game! So much fun, the only complaint I have is that, while if says you've already bought whatever attachment, to use it during the current level, it will still require you to pay the money originally required to buy it in order for it to be unlocked in the inventory. Not really a problem, I just think if that's the case, the shop menu should reflect that instead of telling you it has already been purchased. Otherwise, AMAZING!

Squize responds:

Sounds like a bug to me, that wasn't the intention ( As that would suck ).
Pleased you enjoyed it, and yeah, sorry about the bug man

Amazingly fun but I think there is a glitch in the Swarm missions. I bought some ammo for the flamethrower, then when I went back to the shop to buy some more it was already filled. I could just go to the shop and leave and have ammo.
It would also be a good idea to note that you can only have one turret, I wasted 13000 on a second then found out I couldn't do anything with it.

Squize responds:

Thanks for pointing those bugs out, we'll look into it ( You shouldn't be able to buy more than one sentry gun, so I'm not sure what happened there ).

This game is wonderfully done. The effects are nice, the graphics are great, and the gameplay is fun. It really shows what greatness an online game can achieve without being full-on video games. Though the graphics is kind of old-school and pixelated, it actually adds flavor to the game, making it stand out from many other games that share similar artistic styles. In addition, because the graphics is not the only focus of the game, the quality of the game as a whole is wonderful, rather than very good in one aspect and horrible in another. Great job! :)
