Could turn out to be something nice. The drawings are nothing to complain about. I know what you said about the lack of humor in this episode, but the dialogue came off as a bit strange, although you might end up fixing that in the future as well.

What would you say needs the most work, writing, delivery, editing etc.?

It's a little bland. I would love to see more movement, in regards to both the facial expressions and the body language. The audio, as mentioned in the description, is a bit funky. The timing is a tad bit off and the voices of the two characters seem to be distant and a little too quiet, in relation to the rest of the noise. Plus a little more distinction/emotion in the two characters voices wouldn't hurt.
Also - hey man, it's never a good idea to trash your own original in the description! Both the "I know it's not funny" and the "GIVE IT A GODDAMN BREAK" (I paraphrased the second quote, as it's the description that appears on the thumbnail) are awful ways to prepare an audience to watch something. Being modest is rad, but that's beyond modest my friend. It just doesn't bode well haha
In all honestly it's not too bad. I focused on the negatives more-so than the positives in this review, because it's incomplete as you mentioned.
Hoping to see more life and emotion in a later episode!

Thanks for the advice, I do understand and happily take on board everything that you've said. In response to the movement, body language and expresion, I also believe it could be improved with dynamic characters but during planning we decided that they needed to be very quick and easy to make so that we could produce as many as possible in short spaces of time, focusing more on the comedy. I've been pleasantly surprised with the outcome of having no movement or expresion and think that with enough time I might actually have these as fully animated episodes, we just didn't want the series to begin with a standard that would be hard to keep up later. I will take on your advice. Thanks.
