Miles above the original Slush Invaders animation. This part is multitudes better in every regard. I'm not that big a fan of the song, but I can't deny that it has an energy to it that really builds up the action and makes that much more joyful and vibrant. I wouldn't add it to my phone or Spotify playlist anytime soon, but the animation benefits from its presence.
The animation is silky smooth, and showcases some kickass fight-scenes full of charm. I especially love the fact that it took something that is quite dark, such as prison fights to the death (I presume), and turned it into something that's joyful and energetic. I half-expected some kind of Grimdark claptrap wherein it's a blood-bath, this is a much, much more pleasant surprise to be certain.
