Nothing special, but this one's an especially well programmed and drawn platformer...just didn't last me a level, and there's a bug (or exploit) where you press r to shoot a free star to the right. The game itself is a bit slow...I hate platformers where you have to wait for the right time to do something, especially if that right time takes a while to come, like the floating monsters, I had to wait for them to pass at least 3 times before I strike...over and over again.
It's spelled "Alucard'.
I like how the game was going, but then the lag started to really build up in some stages. The fight with dracula was where i stopped, where I found a glitch that makes me disappear. I couldn't do anything, and dracula kept attacking and moving to random places. I enjoy how this was gimmicky, but this was messed up via lag and annoying glitches.
Cool idea making a game based on the Asslevania flash animation, but I don't think it was executed all that well. Sure, the graphics and backrounds look pretty cool and it has some well known Newgrounds users involved, but I don't think that's quite enough to do it justice. Controls are a main reason for this. The jumping is so awkward and reaching certain platforms is such a pain in the ass. I also think there needs to be a bit more of a life bar for Johnny Belmont. Screen transitions need to be polished a bit as well considering I died accidentally once becuase I was moving to the left in one screen and died because I walked into a trap in the next screen. Other than that, this is pretty cool.
pretty cool short game still trying to defeat dracula and now I will have to get a video walkthough cuz I dunno if you gotta jiggle juggle Dracs bewbz to kill it or what cuz the red bats wont die. As for people stating that"there aren't check points", after you reach Dracula ( passing the green forever alone ghost )portals appear (3 of them) & you can skip ahead to the boss fight and after you beat the first form you beat the final form and if I beat Dracula he will shower in the douche of his own consecuences ... you gotta beat Dracula, Beat Dracula hard and good, thrusting your mettle inside the game and beat yourself in order to beat it ( ok I will stop now) I did try moving to another further part in the castle which proved to have nothing :( just a tall building with books... and Medussa heads.
