A fine looking work-in-progress, Sev. :D
Like I said with your artwork, the 2D visuals are spectacular. I admire how you've animated the lightning flashes into the demo's background. Even more so, the way in which the ground's plant life waves and buckles really implements the whole 'windy' effect that you're evidently going for, and it breathes some life into the scene.
I reckon the animation in the foreground involving the blowing weeds/grass could be improved or polished up a little, since the illustrations you've used for them appear to be just skewing from side to side. I know it's a minor nitpick, but the blades of grass and their movements could be made more lifelike and would credit your magnificent art more too.
That said, the protagonist's movements look pretty darn legit at the moment and I compliment the way you've animated her hair so far and her bodily actions in general. The animations for the collection of the...er...sparkling emerald triangular crystals are pretty neat too.
After I was blinded by your tribal-looking monster with his staff, I squinted at my screen and noticed the title. 'The Extraordinary Theorem' sounds very imaginative and mystical, may I add.
I look forward to the finished game. I also have to design some side-view battles for a uni project. Wish me luck on drawing characters from a side perspective. :L
Keep it up!
