its cool original and fun but the main thing coulda been different then a brick.

The physics aspect of this game is great, I've never seen it done quite like this. The rotation of my character added a new aspect to planning the next jump, and made the climbing technique more interesting. I like how the background scrolls past to give an illusion of depth, and make the simple graphics more visually pleasing. The music is fitting with the overall tone of the game. My only wish is for a few checkpoints, because the long levels don't invite multiple retries. Overall, a great game, clearly you put a lot of thought into it. Thank you for submitting this, voted 5 and favorited!

DarkPrinceVI responds:

Im really happy you liked it. Version 2 has those fixes you wanted and has a story as well. So be on the lookout for that sometime.

The rotation component is implemented mostly fine and you did eventually introduce semi-puzzles that make use of it, so I won't fault you for it. But you committed two dire flaws with your level design--the levels are way too long without a checkpoint, such that I'm not motivated to keep playing if I fall off, and huge stretches of your levels are BORING. If you removed pretty much anything that wasn't oriented vertically and added some time-based lasers or something you might've had a decent game.

Buddy, you're background move too fast, giving the feeling we're in a washing machine, would be logical it scrolls slower than the black foreground. Or maybe your point was making a psychedelic trip, if so, please ignore this message and don't reply to it :p
keep goin'

DarkPrinceVI responds:

I did it because it adds speed and makes the room feel roundish.

Time for a proper review.

Problems:
- The 'sticky Brick' - ie wall sliding - got annoying at points, eg when the player tried to jump up a ledge and got stuck. Difficult to fix, but possibly assign a hotkey to Wall Sliding?

-Menus etc (Have already responded. So I won't go on about them)

-WHY?? What is the point? I am making a small red brick spin in circles whilst jumping along an obstacle course. Ok. Maybe add a reason to do this.

Good Bits:
- Rotation. I know previous reviewers have been having a go at it, but it's decent. As someone who wants to go into computer coding, I know how difficult it is to get even basic contextual movement in a game, much less full on rotational impacts.

So, as I give to all new uploaders, have 5 stars. The game might be a little uninteresting and glitchy at times, but you made a game that rotates a block based on impacts. That's quite hard.
Keep at it, update the game. Good for you for even having a go at game coding.
