very much like space hulk but faster paced, sound track is good and the sound effects are proper. why should i spend moeny on space hulk which is meh when i can play this fun game for free?

grmaster responds:

Sequel will be even better. Thanks ;)

the graphics are okay, but this game is missing a lot of features.
Add commands for your group members (hold position, etc.)
add an inventory for every squad member. add different weapons and armors that can be found in the game. add more different types of enemies.

5 stas, but:
-Basically, what DragonSnack said. Why do I have to wrestle with the mindless auto follow behavior to get the scientist in the middle of the formation, like anyone with experience behind a gun would do, because it's their natural behavior? Also, why do the not controlled characters need to open doors by themselves? No, Mr. Proffessor, I closed the door so the aliens can't attack us from behind while we move on *closes door* Hey, what did I just tell you?*closes door* WTF, man, stop it! *closes door* Dude, keep yer bloody scientist wanker paws off the bloody door FFS*closes door* You know, for a scientist you are pretty fucking retarded...*closes door* So, minus 1 star for that.
-What's with the broken English? I don't mind, really, but sometimes the instructions are very incomprehensible or downright misleading. Like the time when you have to protect the proffessor in the lab while he does research. Instruction was to "protect the scientist". So I did. For bloody 8 minutes. Then I found out that I actually had to controll the proffessor and use the computer. Why didn't you say so in the first place, huh? Half a star deducted.
-Game breaking lag. Oh gods, the lag. I can't play "Going Home", because my input is literally processed with a 35 seconds delay. Minus one star.
So,
5 stars
-1 moron AI
-1 OH GOD THE LAG
-0.5 becuse english be badh
=
2.5 Stars

Makes me sad, actually. This could have been so much better.

Good game with a lot of potential, but there is little room for strategy. The scientists are idiots that like to run all over the place and get killed. You can not post your cyborgs or give any commands to them making it very difficult to control where everyone goes and how they react. I have had ai cyborgs kill my scientists in crossfires and allow my scientists to be the last in the group. If I could control the marching order, tell cyborgs to defend a position or character, or even give a general halt to the rest of the group while the selected character performs a task. Having the entire team automatically follow the selected character is not always a good thing.
With a little more control over the characters I think this can be a great game, but right now it is very frustraiting.
