This was a very nice speed draw. Would have been rated more higher if it was on another website. The movie section on newgrounds is pretty much 98% animation with a few exceptions. Anyways, the shading was a nice touch to the Illustration.
From one of the strangest anime movies from the anime movie Dead Leaves. I was so inspired by the art style and the epic animation of this movie, I had to do a fan art pic of these two crazy nut cases. And now they get a speed drawing video.

Thanks, I understand about speed painting being here on NG but real reason I upload them here as well is to break the gap in my gallery between sprite movies.
What do you do when adding shadow? That's where I'm kinda clueless.
There are other ways you can go about making shadows. You can also change the opacity of the shape or keep it solid. Burn tool also works or darker shade of the original color of the object.
Hope that can be useful for you.
I don't know if this is the kind of material Newgrounds accepts. After all movies are supposed to be made in flash or similar. The intend of a screen capture movie goes against this.
I recommend as it is well developed.
Why shouldn't it be. Would you say the same about 3D and music videos?
