Inspired by Wall Street Kid (NES) and The American Dream (Terry Cavanagh, et. al.) Feeling Lucky is a dark little game that I made for miniLD #38 - NES. The original 48-hour version was done in an NES palette, but I decided to go for something that looked a bit better.
The initial inspiration was the concept of lucky clothing and sports streaks. The NES theme led me to make it like Wall Street Kid, but with a focus on gambling than on the stock market (like there's a difference.)

Really though, you right click to back out of menus. The right click takes you back, the left click moves you forward. The author's comments let you know that. I'm sorry to see that you had difficulty with the control system.
Unless, that is, you were having entirely different difficulties? Please, be descriptive in describing how it "crashed" so I can fix the issue.
For only having two buttons, navigating the options and figuring out how to succeed at the game proved very difficult. But I love the feel and the simple aesthetic of the game.
Thank you for expending the effort and time to experience the piece. I appreciate your feedback and compliments!
This is near-impossible to navigate, and can sometimes lead to pages with nowhere to go. So my vote of zero is not to dishearten you, but just to make sure this is taken down until you make the necessary improvements. Best of luck!
