In this survival type avoider game, you defend Brock the hipster block from increasing numbers of conformists. THIS PRETTY MUCH REQUIRES A REAL MOUSE, using a trackpad makes it unnecessarily difficult. This is my first flash game.

WASD to move
Left Mouse to kill conformist blocks.

1.1: Difficulty lowered, kill count added, double ad issue fixed.

Was an alright game. Short music loop was annoying, killing wasn't as accurate as I would have liked.

This game was super addicting, but was also super fun. I just found the repetitive guitar music to be a little bit annoying; as it had no beat or sound effects to it. I think the game should also have different colors, other than just the background. It seemed to get tiring after a while, even though it was getting more difficult.

It's not very good, but it is a first flash so I'll be nice. For once. ;)

So yeah, difficulty is a bit strange, but I didn't find it that bad. It jumps at the milestones like 1000 and 5000, so it at least makes sense. The main problem I have is the hit detection. If a block hits you from diagonally it has about a half an inch between you and that conformist. Oh yeah, speaking of conformists, what is with the story anyway? I don't really understand the story with the hipster defending himself from the conformists. It's not like they're zombies or anything. What're they gonna do, break his lens-less glasses and steal his fedora?

Regardless, it's a kinda fun timekiller, and I hope to see more from you!

I actually enjoyed this. I do have a few complaints though, namely the difficulty curve. It is the slowest, easiest game in the world up until about 1000 points and then doesnt change much until about 5000 points. Suddenly tons of them are closing in from every direction. Also the art wasn't all that great but I did notice that you didn't have a separate artist on this project and you only programmed it so I guess the art is excusable. All in all it was pretty fun though. One quick question, is the creation of the conformists randomized or do they just enter at specific times?

Thanks for the comment. This was my first flash game, and I made it in 4 days while doing everything alone. I didn't do much with the art to keep the simplicity for my first game. I plan on making a sequal where I can extend more on the art, maybe add an upgrade system and perfect the difficulty. I plan on probably adding some more achievements and further adjusting difficulty. The difficulty is a little messed up because it increases quite a bit every 25 seconds. The spawns are completely randomized.

not a bad game, there should be 1 more achievement for 10k points and the 150 kills should specify that it has to be in 1 game. should be a limited number of clicks so you cant just spame click, that would give it more of a skillful feel. Other then that, simple and fast, good waste of 5 minutes...literally...
