Well based solely on this prototype, good work so far.
This is a prototype of a game I've been working on. It's in a VERY early and unfinished state, and most of the art and dialogue are just meant to be temporary placeholders. Even though it's unfinished I thought I'd put it up to see what people think of it. Feedback is appreciated.
It's meant to be a fantasy action platformer with some light RPG elements. The dungeon is randomized each time the game loads (though the first, second and last rooms are always the same). Right now it only generates a series of six rooms, but I plan on making the final version longer, with more variety in the rooms.

Really like the base mechanics and art style, here are some thoughts on improvements:
- Make enemy classes much more distinct in appearance; can't tell the difference between a melee and ranged enemy until they start attacking.
- Make the shots from ranged enemies that ricochet off the shield do damage to enemies, that would be a neat little addition.
- Make it so that melee enemies can't attack you while you're on a ladder/climbing wall (ranged enemy attacks are fine, because they can be dodged, but melee attacks can't be...).
- Considering that this is such an early version of the game, it's hard to really give any solid feedback, because you might already plan to fix any issues I have with the game, but still these are the only things that really stood out to me (+ having to reload the page every time I died, but I assume that is only a flaw of this test...)
Keep your demos betas and tests on your dumping grounds (3rd icon to the left of your user name) There you can get helpful advice from peer game makers and reviewers before making a real submission. Good luck.
It's alright. Could use work, as well as a "try again" or "main menu" button when you die so a page refresh isn't necessary. One of the rooms I got stuck in, that should probably be looked at. Other than that, I'm excited to see the final product.
