When an Alien ask a serial killer to "give'm the sharp thing" , will he give it to him? He asked for it! The killer's gonna give it to him alright!
The original idea for deadly abduction started as with an single scene where an alien asked a serial killer to "give him the sharp thing". so he does. It revolved around the idea that abduction worked in the same way 'dear caught in the head lights' freezes with fear. As humans we see our vast world but what if aliens only see the small area where they land. It you only capture garden snakes you may assume all snakes are harmless, until you grab a cobra. This is the same sort of logic I apply to aliens, where this group just hasn't hasn't picked up a serial killer before.
Also the girl in the pod is character design I'm working on for another animation.
