SWAP PANEL POSITIONS TO FORM COMICS! FIND CLICKABLE AREAS TO CHANGE PANELS!

At last another game comics from us.
We have placed this as comic 4; after The Egocentric and before the infamous The Self-Destructive.

You should preferably have played the previous comics: http://www.athleticarcade .com/stripemall/index.htm l
and especially The Egocentric: http://www.athleticarcade .com/stripemall/micke.htm l
before attempting this one.

After completing this one you may even stand a (slim) chance of completing The Self-Detructive: http://www.athleticarcade .com/stripemall/pragmatik ern.html without help from the walkthrough!

It may look identical to The Egocentric but you should soon discover that they differ in several ways. While it is notably more complex than The Egocentric, it should not be too hard to finish it. Just like The Self-Destructive, there are several comics to form that together form a whole.

No walkthrough ready but we have added a cheat mode that reveals clickable areas (this has also been added to all the other comics in the series). However, there are lots of hints, both inside the panels and in the publish comments, on where to click, so try to refrain from using it.

It sure is hard, but there is walkthrough up now: http://www.athleticarcade.com/stripemall/walkthru-fanatic.html

I love this game but I just get soooo stuck!!!!xx

AthleticDesign responds:

Glad you liked it, sorry that you are stuck! We will make a walkthrough for this game (and all the other games in the series). They will be finished within a month or two. It's a promise!

I am happy that a new comic came out, I love this one as much as I loved the earlier ones, too. Thank you very much!

I really liked the difficulty level of that one, as you said yourselves the jump from The Egocentric to The Self-Destructive was a bit too high. I think having played the Fanatic would have been a great help before trying to solve The Self Destructive.

Things I liked here:
- It was very interesting to see that a "secondary character" who appeared in an earlier comic was now revealed as "The Fanatic", having an own story, too. It gave me the feeling that the single comics kinda take place in the same world being linked together.
-The hints you get from the game are very helpful, so in my eyes solving this comic is a fair task.
- The cheat button is a good idea because I think it can be very frustrating for someone to make no progress just because a clickable area was overseen every time.
- [Slight Spoiler] I love the fact you can chose to go to the next comic or to continue solving this one to reveal more of the story, it has a touch of "Secret / True Ending". But this also leads to...

The one thing I disliked [Also here slight spoiler]
- Maybe I didnt found it yet, but after I ignored the arrow with the option to move to the next comic (in order to continue discovering) it didn't come back, even after I discovered everything( (at least I think so). I would have liked it if it reappeared at some point...

Sorry, I wrote more than I originally planned. I didn't submit a review here on newgrounds yet. But this game motivated me to do so for the first time because (as I already mentioned) I love this series and I hope that more people will pay attention to it. It would be really awesome to play more comics of yours in the future :)

AthleticDesign responds:

Thanks a lot! Your comments are very much appreciated.

The continue button disappears because it shares screen space with the cheat mode check box. The continue button will reappear if you make the correct comic again (but that may not be possible if you have not "stayed on path"). I know, it is not an ideal solution. Maybe I come up with something different.

Didn't get it, sorry.

Awesome Puzzle game love the comic art elements

AthleticDesign responds:

Thanks! In many ways, this level has the best balance between comic stories and point & click puzzling.
