Ironman: Space Flight

Share Collapse

Author Comments

Ironman decides to take a journey through space and encounters danger while on his journey. Use the arrow keys to move Iron Man through space while avoiding objects such as spikes and Thors Hammer (KO). You have limited fuel on the journey and need to reach the canisters of fuel to supply your energy. Good luck. My high score is 18700.

Bleh, bad.

Not bad for a first game, don't take it so hard people love to bitch. They raised some valid points though.

My high score was 233. Woo! I love how Ironman suddenly experiences gravity in space when he dies.

That's not a bad start at all, MachoMan. If I was you, I should focus on Game Mechanics and Level Design more. But seriously, good job so far, keep fighting!

TheMachoMan7 responds:

thanks this is my first game ever

terrible game: first off- controls

controls were too sensitive. As soon as you press up or down, iron man is uncontrollable, as he bounces off the walls of the game (which is funny because it is set in space!)

music is too quiet, and no special effects (ie, ironman saying his quality one liners/ being hurt, etc)

game is virtually unplayable. Sure, you may have got a high score of 18700, but im not sure if everyone will be willing to beat your high score any time soon.

hit boxes are quite bad. its virtually impossible to avoid anything at any point (defeats the purpose of the game)

Even clicking on the 'menu' and 'play' button are aggravating. ie, clicking twice/ 3 times to restart application.

Graphics are boring and dull.

So overall, it serves its' purpose as a submission, but in terms of a fun game? 0 for fun, 1/2 for effort and 0 for replay-ability. Try harder! I reckon it could of been much better with some effort and some thought for the gamer (ie, do you think we would enjoy it?)- resounding no. sorry.being honest!
