it fits the name but is boring and you can beat it with doing nothing
Arrow keys to move. Get close to objects to interact. If controls don't respond, try playing in a new window or refreshing (sorry, I blame html5).
This game was made in 4 hours for a 5-hour RPG game jam.

its a neat and new perspective but the game is lacking quality.
Good concept but sadly lacking. Nothing that looks like a kitchen table (the one that sports a flower hardly counts; even with a chair in front of it, it still looks like an end table/bedside table. She has a stove to cook...what exactly? there's no fridge. I guess it doesn't matter that there's no sink or dishwasher since she's cooking nothing. No doors to bedrooms which could have shown her making beds. No garden or mailbox (she really ought to be checking her mail in hopes he'd at least write--or even maybe get a letter once in awhile). I only consider it sexist because being a full time mom means more than that--surely she eats or she'd die but there's no refrigerator and no trips to the grocery store. At the very least, it would have been nice if she didn't walk in place always facing the viewer no matter what direction she moves in. I would have given this at least three stars if she did even a fraction of what I suggested.
actually the idea of making a game about the heroes mother is awesome. sadly the realization is a little... unsucessful
nothing to do but move around makes it boring
