Some mascots seem to shine on forever, like Mario. Sometimes their fanbases refuse to let them die, like Sonic. Then there come the ones who've fallen out of memory forever, like Tomba.

Spyro's somewhere in between. I personally prefer the glorious original trio made by Insomniac. (The GBA title Attack of the Rhynocs was good too). While i may poke fun at the later adaptations, i will concede that they're pretty fun games in their own right.

Except 'Enter the Dragonfly'. That was just awful.
