WHEW. Well here it is!, My entry for the third round of NATA 2013!
My take on the theme of "Your Own Reflection" was to work on how the "works" of a character could turn against himself, as a reflection based on his making, due to the presence of a "brain-intruder" creature causing some sort of psychotic brain "glitch" episode.

There's also some less-usual sound experimentation for your ears to absorb and (somehow) taste.

Reminds me of the time I had a small black insect stuck in my ear...ouch..great animation, Butzbo!

Butzbo responds:

Oow, well I guess this is the more digital version of that.
Thanks!, this is already an old short for me, but it's fun to see it's still watchable :)

All your films are pretty neat, but I think I like your future-ish ones best of all.

Well, this was a rather surreal movie. I like it.

It managed to build a coherent story without using any dialogue. The art style was great, reminds me of the ol' Saturday Morning Cartoons. The music fit well, and the chase sequence reminded me of old cartoons from the 30's to 40's.

I would like to comment that I highly enjoyed this flash and animation.
The style may have seemed simple to some... but I can certainly say I think this was a highly advanced animation regardless of how many can say it is 'blocky' or with limited color.
The story was well thought out and well explained and implemented even without words, nor the description you offered, allowing most people to be drawn in with ease. No real complaints exist on my side.

Experimental indeed, this is awesome.
I love the animation style you've used here, as well as the pac-man / chiptunes inspired audio. I really can taste the chippyness of the chiptunes. Yum!
Really cool stuff.
I hope to see and hear more from you soon!
