Alex tries to piece together what happened and what led to it. He meets an entity within his mind but, can it be trusted?
Here's my third round entry for Nata 2013. So many compromises out of the fear I might not have it done on time... Once again I find myself trying to make a big plot in a short amount of time. I just keep building on one idea and never know when to stop. Why do I do this to myself?... Despite all of this, I learned a lot. I'll just have to keep the time allowed to work on a project in mind next time. Anyways, thanks for watching. Whether you liked it or not, I appreciate it.
Fun Fact: The kid from my first round entry (Josh) is Alex's son in an alternative universe.
Edit: For people who don't know, the guy in the green coat is myself in the animation. I look and sound like the character in this animation, so his voice isn't off. Alex on the other hand, I can understand the problem.
Amazing story, the end gave me chills. You know why it isn't 5 stars, everyone else has said it already.
Good Story but Holy Fuck, the VOICES. Seriously, it pulled me out of most of the animation. Quick tip, try animating the characters to look more like the voice actor. Use Reverse Mickey Mouse-ing on this thing. Any way other than that, the only complaint is the art, or rather the fluidity. Some of the scenes flow as smooth as silk being spun by a spider. Smooth, and natural, if somewhat unpleasant to think of. Others scenes are a little rocky, almost jerky. And some of these scenes are RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER. It just underscores the jerkiness. It was good, but the audio and animation kinda killed it for me.

Alex, the guy with the brownish-orange hair, I can understand what I need to work on. The guy in the green coat is modeled after me. I look and sound like that, so his voice is fine with me. The animation in some scenes had to be rushed because my time was running out.

decent animation but the voice acting..... just does not match. Like the guys just sound black and the dudes are white.

Ah. The guy in the green coat is black. He's light skinned because he's modeled after me. (I don't think anyone noticed there's a green coat wearing guy in all of my animations.) There are deep voiced white people, so that was what I was going for. I guess I should go with a different voice next time.
