HOOOOOOOOOOO BOY WHAT A RIDE. This whole thing started way back from at the end of the school year. On the Colbert Report, Steven was reporting on Monsanto and its genetically modified wheat appearing "strangely" in another farmer's field, without the consent of the farmer. So that farmer now has to pay Monsanto for growing their brand of wheat.
Anyway, so my mom and I were thinking about making an animation about Monsanto. We came up with the concept, the fleshed out idea, the script, and the storyboard sketches for the project. All I had to do next was get the voice acting. I went to Newgrounds.com to find voice actors, as that is where they love to conjugate. I came across a guy named Daniel Butler, who ended up being the Tourist. There was another guy named "legendofdelzalol", who was supposed to do the voice of the Host, but due to reasons I'm not aware of, he couldn't. So after some time had passed and without legendofdelzalol's communication, I decided to do the voices myself.

Originally, I wanted to get Markiplier from http://youtube.com/markip liergame to do the voice of the Host, but he didn't respond to my questions. Then I wanted to get Jason from http://jasonsvoices.com/ but he says he couldn't. Then I wanted Alex Oram from http://youtube.com/editzp to do the Narrator, but he didn't respond either.

The last thing I needed was the voices for the Narrator, which I turned to Aaron for. He is a friend and contributor to ADE-Syndicate.

There are a few Easter eggs hidden in this. Can you find them?

So in the end, everything turned out for the best. All's well. Not a thing in the world can go wrong. Except GMO's, the NSA, and a boat-load of other things. BUT THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT, YOU SEE.

Audio was a bit compressy sounding at times, but the pacing, writing and simple animation earns a good rating. BTW author, were there clickable Easter eggs in the Flash version of this?

The company in question can and does sue farmers for growing non-Monsanto seeds next to theirs, any cross pollination would be like reverse-engineering software, they say (and they have, in Federal court, and have won.) It's important to know these things, and hope

Monsanto has a nasty history of coverups and corruption. Ever hear of Agent Orange? That was Monsanto... And there is in fact lots of cases where farmers come forward and complain about Monsanto's extortion racket. Also, they fabricated false documents saying their GMOs increase the plant in size improving yields. Other research facility's found different results. People do come forward and tell the truth, but people go missing, they get threats, and the whole thing runs deeper than you think. Define 'propaganda'...

Alyxandr responds:

I have no official stance on the whole Monsanto issue, and this was more of a parody. I've noticed that, even if you have evidence against them, people will simply ignore you and label you insane just because it's not the official story. I don't go out and say whether I am for GMO or against GMO because I don't want that kind of scrutiny regardless of if I'm right or not. I go the same way with 9-11 and the Federal Reserve.

What did I just watch??? (Not in a bad way in good way;D)

Superb, man. Smooth animation, meaningful dialogues. That's what arts should be about.

Doublethinking.

Keep 'em coming!

Alyxandr responds:

Thanks for the praise. I will pump out these things as soon as I get them completed.

your idea of monsento is totaly false. there has never been a singe case of genetic food ever causeing cancer. what it is is just grows larger better food. most farmers have been useing this brand or brands just like this for years. could you imagine if farmers did not? the nations food would be dwindled so small that the anamails on farms would not be fed. makeing prices of everything go way up. also the claime that someone had to pay them because there seed blew into there feild is just a hoax. there has never been any leagal case of that ever happening. please take the time to do some research instead of looking up anti monsento videos on youtube, before you go planting these ignorant ideas in other peoples heads.

Alyxandr responds:

Its a parody. Its supposed to be like that. It even says so in the disclaimer at the end.
