Too easy. No replay value. Good idea though.
Shoot the cannon to destroy castles and towers, kill all your foes to complete a level, save a hostage. Physics shooter game, breakable objects, 20 levels. This game also contains a small story.
Too easy. No replay value. Good idea though.
It was entertaining at first, but then it became repetitive and monotonous. There was hardly any challenge at all and I wasn't even paying attention to what I was doing yet I was still winning.
While I am not a big fan of the castle destroyer type games, I always try to give any game a fair chance even if it's in a genre I don't like. But this one just seems a little "off" to me. I do like the fact that you changed up the aiming style, instead of having a side view from the cannon/catapult that you're using to destroy the castle, its first person, which is unique. However, it seems the physics, and the way the blocks break, and gravity, all seem to as I in this game.
Case in point: I was on the third castle, and I shot a rock directly at the middle of the bottom left support; now if the physics, block breaking dynamic, and gravity were like they are in the real world, logic would indicate that after a bottom support gives out the entire structure should come crumbling down, thus killing everyone inside, and allowing me to get a higher ranking/score. In this game, the structure just leaned slightly to one side which meant I had to fire multiple times just to destroy one support, and when the support was finally destroyed the structure still didn't fall it just leaned more to the side of the support that was removed.
I gave you three stars because the aiming dynamic is unique, I like the little story that's integrated into it, and the music fits the game. However, you REALLY need to re-tweak the physics and gravity in this game. Many times in this game I thought I would get a one shot kill, only to find out that I had to go through my entire ammunition stack just to destroy ONE support structure and the castle still did not fall.
In closing, there are just two suggestions that I would make. Re-tweak the physics and gravity in the game as I mentioned before hand. And make it so that we get money for every castle we destroy, and not have to rely on destroying treasure chests in order to get gold. Doing that would allow the player to get better upgrades sooner.
Same concept as many games, just a big buggier. I keep firing so shrapnel will destroy the vikings but it hits them then just rolls off.
it's good idea. first person view tower game. brilliant
but the game play is kinda hard. hard to enjoy
