A short film made with 3DS MAX, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere. Just enjoy it !

I wanted to work on men alienated by society as well as religion :)

So, I created a society based on a simple structure : A people of equal individuals ruled by a superior power.

The essence of this alienation is the fluid which serves as a unique resource.
This divinity is meant to appear as a combination of religion and royalty.
The people is composed of blissful characters, moving in a shimmering forest.
However, this setting is an illusion: their divinity injected a fluid which makes them all blissful: that's why they see the world in colour...
Blissful people are in an illusion they make themselves, and they trust in it.

dubstep is overused, cool animation

The visuals matches what I think you were going for. I do think in a story like this the 3d look was the best way to go. The little ball of light was a bit too simple but work overall for what their need to be and do. the visuals on the eye was good. The music was simple but was blissful and chaos that matches the story well and the twist at the middle was a little easy to see but i do not think it was made for that point overall I like this short

Good Work

at first i was like gaaayyyyy.....but then it got awsome

Very nice animation and the concept reminds me a book called Anthem by Ayn Rand...talks exactly about alienation, although it might refers more to the ''equality'' of communism.
Keep it up with meaningful animations :)
