Stranded on a ship headed into deep space, a young boy finds himself on a distant world...

CONTROLS: Arrow Keys to move, Z to Jump, X to shoot. Down to interact (go through doors, use save point)

Game design: Frank Lueck

Music: KungFuFurby

Just wanted to put this up since I put a lot of work into this. Sadly I can't work on the game anymore, though I do hope to come back to it some day. Let me know what you think! Takes ~ 30 mins or so to get through if you're quick. Plays better with a controller. Use Xpadder or something of the like to get this working.

I would not be surprised if there were tons of bugs still in this. Let me know if you find any game breaking ones ; )

the platforming is smooth.

the story telling/explanation is far too verbose. you need to cut down text to 1/3'ish what it is. i don't like having to skip content, but when people get too verbose with the storytelling, it's because they're using it as a crutch to tell a story that could be more subtlely and cleverly told through gameplay and visuals.

i like the music style you're trying to go for but you should hire a better composer to get it across better.

art is almost there. it has that tiny pixel-art style that a lot of people like. but for example, a wall would be a tesselation of a very small graphic. it has no character. there should be asymmetric blemishes, growths, cracks, detail. it feels like you're aware of this because it is done in some areas. but not in others. it would add to the game's character immensely.

larger screensize. not a fan of it being so tiny. should be able to full screen it.

Not bad, good start, while you're working on it here are some suggestions. The graphics are alright, but I feel this needs a mute button for the music and a pause button, I can't stress how important this is. I also feel the movement of the game when you control the character needs to be faster, it kinda drags. Also what some people already mentioned about other issues in-game.

This has some potential for sure, but even the slightest flaws can make a game not as fun, but it's good to know you're still working on this. Mainly if you can fix the gameplay speed, I think it'll be good. Good luck, keep up the good work.

Fun, really fun, but what the hell is the point of having a continue option on the main menu if you cant reload your save game after closing/refreshing the browser. I would give this 5 stars if it wasnt for that HUGE flaw.

Fraz-66 responds:

When I originally uploaded this game on the save feature worked... It still does for dying/reloading purposes. Not sure why save/load doesn't work on here once refreshed...

Music is really good. Decent platformer. Art looks alright too. :)

Could just be me, but felt the controls were a bit sluggish. Might just be my laptop, but it wasn't a big deal.

Again, though. Music is the standout in this game. It really is fantastic.

This is very addictive and entertaining. But saving can be a bitch for me :/
