To start, your graphics are decent. Story is okay, but your design has a lot of flaws. Jumping is very stiff as is throwing the balls. I often fell through platforms.
As it is, it's okay, but it really needs a lot of work. As this is your first game, my suggestion is to work a bit on your controls and platforming. Good luck!

not a bad game, but a but tricky to navigate. would be preferable not to have to use the mouse at all to get from screen to screen

1: your description says middle school. more like kinder. the candy is hard, the dodgeball is impossible. id say make the ground SOLID so I don't get dirty.
