The idea behind this game is good. The level design, I think, is not. The puzzles aren't really hard at all, so all that remains is the platforming aspect, which is only challenging because of the control scheme - not a very good way to make the game compelling. As for the writing, well... some of the comments were amusing, I guess, but when I finished the game I thought basically "Oh, there was a story?" so I can't say that the story was very compelling. Better than no story at all, I guess. Also, the graphics seem a bit bland: having higher contrasts would be better, probably.
Overall, I'd like to see Callidus 2, with level design more focused on puzzles and maybe different graphics and more story.
