This is definitely a step in the right direction, but honestly not all too engaging. The maps look fairly bland and the only challenge here is in the controls, which I found far more annoying than fun. With some tweaks, I'm sure that this game could be something awesome, but for now I find it mediocre at best.
I like how i explode into blue bits instead of bleeding.
The idea behind this game is good. The level design, I think, is not. The puzzles aren't really hard at all, so all that remains is the platforming aspect, which is only challenging because of the control scheme - not a very good way to make the game compelling. As for the writing, well... some of the comments were amusing, I guess, but when I finished the game I thought basically "Oh, there was a story?" so I can't say that the story was very compelling. Better than no story at all, I guess. Also, the graphics seem a bit bland: having higher contrasts would be better, probably.
Overall, I'd like to see Callidus 2, with level design more focused on puzzles and maybe different graphics and more story.
This is fantastic....still not done, but one of the most unique things I've seen in a while....Great Work
