It's a pretty cool game. One thing I think though is that you should make your shields regenerate after each level and just make the levels harder. It would make it much better.

Interesting concept! I recommend a more aesthetically pleasing bullet/laser animation, and a new sound for the balls, its hard to listen to after a while, perhaps something a little softer and quieter.
