This was a really cool take on the point and click genre. The only thing that really bothers me is that after finishing this, I now have to go to the site to play the full game and (I assume) start at the beginning. I don't know why but that irritates the hell out of me.
the concept of this game was good, and the animation was excellent. However, the game play was lacking. The auto reload took away from the feel of combat, and there was hardly a challenge since the camera zoomed in on attacking enemies and they took so long to cause damage, and at a few points the game didn't even register I had hit my target when I had. I did, however, like you're use of investigations and items, and the music did well to set the mood all in all it was a good game I give it 3/5
Reminds me of the arcade games, its set up all the same. I have all 5 stars and want to say that it could have used a second opinion on the grammar and writing. Still a great game!
Quite a good and nonstandard game. Well, let me start with the drawbacks due to which I gave it just an 8:
- The automatic reload when I stop shooting was difficult to get the hang of, and most of the damage I took was because of this delaying me.
- The game doesn't really save progress and I have to start from scratch (maybe it's just the demo, but then it shouldn't have a Continue button).
- No mute button.
Otherwise, the combination of shooting with point-and-click is excellent. Having a map is awesome (I'd also mark the first-aid kits but that's just a small improvement suggestion). The graphics are very good, and the animations during shootouts are smooth. I'm also impressed by how the scene changes due to my actions - button placed, stick left on floor, etc. Many point-n-click-only games don't do that!
The shootouts could be improved, it's kinda funny how enemies can be defeated by one shot to the leg... But it's not really bad since this isn't a shooting-only game.
Well, off to play the full version when I have time :)
