Excellent concept, although the two sections of undodgeable cactus density are rather irritating.
The deep and touching story totally compensates for that flaw, though.
EDIT: Rebalanced the game a little. It should last a little longer that a minute, and the frustating cacti are mostly gone.
A man forgets the inevitable and stand against everything and everywhere to save his only love. With water. Or maybe high fives.
Instructions: GO FOR THE BLUE DOT!
A game made for the Ludum Dare 26, a competition where you design and develop a game from scratch in 48h. I'm pretty happy with what I had.

So, I tried my best to make a short, good experience than a long, bloated and bad experience, because that's how I like LD games, for me. So this shouldn't take longer than a minute. If you don't lose once, that is.
Most of all, have fun!
Made with: Flex + Flixel + GraphicsGale + Audacity
Soon I should game some details better, like music.
My LD ratings for this:

#223 Overall 3.53
#261 Mood 3.25
#302 Audio 3.12

You figured it out. I made thinking on a shift in the player's attention. Yeah, maybe it wasn't the best of ideas.
Thanks!
This is awesome. ^_^
Really good game, love all aspects! The idea, the animation, everything! A great LD competition game.
BAI BAI! STRITTY OUT!
Thanks!
