You've inherited your grandfather's house in which he, your great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather lived before. You knew about your ancestors only from stories, because you spent your childhood with your parents in Europe.
Your grandfather lived in America and passed away in the time of your early childhood.
To find out more about your roots you reach the place you've inherited.

Use your mouse to collect the items that are listed on the screen.
It's necessary to complete levels and find all secrets of your grandfather's house.

challengeing, reminds me of a game on newgrounds where you can play as hansel and gretel

The game "Grandpa's Old House" is a search and click game.
It starts off with a nice guitar tune, which really is catchy and is really high quality.
For the game, the guitar tune is a great win.
The great loss is that the tune is repeated, on and on and on.
The game itself is OK because there isn't any great challenge.

I disliked the fact that I started the game but didn't know what I am looking for, because the "things" the player has to search for are'nt marked, neither written big enough to be seen at first sight.
The storyboard yet does'nt have anything to do with the items the player has to search for.
In fact, there are too many items the player has to find.
In my opinion it would even make more fun and sense if it were so.

My last negative point is that the ending is left off short.
Not one sentence is mentioned about what happens to the boy after he has found the treasure.

That is why you get 3/5 stars and 3/5 voting points.
Keep up the good work!

Rather entertaining and captured my attention. Was a bit on the hard side to figure out what was what, such as "Metal Cup" in a room full of what look like hanging metal cups.
