I'm having a hard time following this, but I can tell you that the whole rabbit from the hat thing is a huge cliche!

Wizards don't do things like that. You're thinking of a Magician, someone who does tricks, not magic.

Also, the art/animation here was a bit subpar. I kinda laughed to myself at the "intermission" part of it though. That's just so off-the-wall. 0.5 because I almost laughed.

Sorry, but in the limitless realm of the animation, magic tricks aren't that amusing. Maybe a twist at the end one wouldn't expect for a laugh?
