loved it, but some pointers... the sound was choppy, sometimes there was none for several seconds, but maybe that's because of old cpu, although character moved without any noticeable lag. also, you should consider to include a different key-mapping(moving character with arrow keys). yes, i feel comfortable moving character in 3d shooters with wasd, but at the same time i have 5 actions packed in my mouse (looking around, shooting, changing weapon, crouching, jumping), and that is 1 action more... so, it feels kinda weird to do most of the actions with my left hand.. other than that, Nice work, keep it up! ;)

Here is a html5 preview of Big Bang Battle!
Big Bang Battle is a cross between Pong and Windjammers, born from our intense desire to play a multiplayer arcade game "with friends like old times! right now!".

For this preview (without custom key-mapping), we made the following choices: player 1 -> wasd, player 2 -> arrow keys. It gives the possibility to play in versus mode (1vs1) on the same keyboard (since gamepads are not supported yet).
Of course, controls will be configurable (gamepad & keyboard) in future versions.
Concerning the sounds, I don't know, maybe a problem of browser, sometimes the result are different. HTML5 seems pretty unstable, but we use another engine to develop the "real game", including more reliable exporters.
Not a bad concept, but I just didn't like the control scheme all that much; Pong-like games just aren't made for a keyboard.

I know that some people are not very comfortable playing this game with a keyboard.

This is a short preview, developed to receive feedback, positive or not, about the gameplay/visual. Not a final version (far from that! :) ).
Don't worry, we will add many characters (about 15-20 chars in all and one arena/music/fury per character) and features (2vs2, solo game modes, maybe online multiplayer etc.) over the next weeks/months.
