Eulogy For 'Logic - Pirate Treasure'

This entry was blammed by our users.

Here is its eulogy, a collection of the kind words written about it while still among the living. They shall live on forever in its place.

This is a short, standalone puzzle, based on a project I did in school. Just use logic to solve the puzzle. The instructions show you which logical rules you can use.

Drag the clues to the slots at the bottom in order to create more clues and find the treasure.

WARNING - If you drag a clue to a slot, it's locked in, so think before you drag!

This is a short game with ZERO replay value, but I think it would make a good mini-game (I know one DS game that uses something like this). I need to get back to my AS3 studies and start planning a larger game.

UPDATE - OK, I'm using this as a minigame in my large game.

You have to do a small amount of logic solving to get the answer. Some more artwork, maybe a small map, some characters would definitely help. Pretty good premise so far, keep refining it!

Unique idea, I honestly have never played a game like this. I just think a little more atmosphere could help make this game a little better. It seemed a little dull without any music and just the bland, white background.
Also, I thought you could make it so after you choose a clue and put it into "Put Clue Here" section, maybe you could make it so you can take it out or move it before putting in a second one. I know you did that intentionally, or at least I assume after reading the "Author Comments" section.
If you do ever decide to make something like this again try to make it a tad bit longer. This was quite short but it was a nice way to pass some time.

Brilliant idea. I always have loved logic, especially logic proofs. I appreciate this game highly. I hope you create something broader using the same concept. If you want further ideas or assistance, let me know.

I like the game concept. It's too short, but it has potential. It's not too difficult. I suggest you make another one with more difficulty and a longer 'gameplay'.

I enjoyed it but it is to short. Maybe solving one logic puzzle should let you progress to the next puzzle. Solving five puzzles would have made it seem more of a challenge.

I like the concept, but way to short.

4 stars for a really good and intresting game.

An expansion of this would be better, for example different things to find one after the other, or a sort of platformer or something in wich you have to solve different things to go through.

I also liked the logic basics explained in the instructions. I played it few times. I rellay loved it!

too easy

The logic in this game makes no sense. I managed to complete it but I don't see how the clues matched at all when you think about it logically. How would you you know it was the house by the lake or the house by the tree and then why would you match random clues to it. It just makes no sense to me. I would use a different process to find a treasure. The sound and graphics seem to have a minimal effort. Despite my being harsh I think you are off to a decent start.

It was a fun game. I would love it if you made more levels with this gameplay style.

Great game with a lot of potential. Liked the idea behind the logic way to think, but i think you made it a little too easy. Try to add more levels, some easier and a lot harder than this, and maybe throw in some more clues or something.
The cards you put in the bottom have a tendency to stay there and you have to pull them back up, which is kind of irritating and the clue cards are placed kind of clumsy within the boxes.
4 Stars from me :)

I did beat the game in 3 moves! Great!

*Bitch please, I'm not reading the instructions.........What the hell do I do?

Not bad. It should be longer

This game would be better if there was more levels instead of just one. This kind of gameplay is unique, I like it. Btw, is the ds game you are referring to Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth?

Three moves indeed. The idea to base a game on proposition logic is excellent, but I'm not fond of the execution here. A point & click game with a more independent player would be nice. Now, I am forced to use a machine to tell me things I already know. Anyways, great concept, you could massively expand on this.
