this is a great game i love the art style particularly the giant/robot whatever. It reminded me a bit of studio ghibli and shadow of colossus. I also liked how you can choose to just walk off or destroy everything and the ending is great how you just walk forever

I can't for the life of me figure out how to control the robot when the birds come.

I think I understood the story. It seems like the whole Idea was, the giant was a robot from a long ago war, chained up because his side lost the war. He lost his memory and then he just sat there for who knows how long. Much later, the boy, who is a loner, goes exploring and finds him. Since the giant has no memory, he just accepts the boy as his friend. The other villagers grew up with happy homes and parents and things, but the boy was alone, with no one, so that's why he was alienated.
When the bird died, the robot just had no idea, even though he might have been used for war. When the village hears about how the childless parent has become friends with a war robot, they assume that he is about to kill them. This is why the robot becomes either enraged and destroys the town, or he merely moves on, out of respect for his friend.

Really beautiful game. I liked that there was somewhat of a skill aspect to it that not many art games have (jumping over some things were a little challenging at first but not too difficult). I legitimately felt sad by the end... The fact that it doesn't really stop after getting the end is kind of powerful...

5/5 for me 'cause is really awesome but I can't manage to finish it!
The giant (and the game) suddenly stop when the villagers throw that arrow things to him and I'm not able to move it using arrow keys, spacebar or enter key.. What I have to do? I have already replay it two times and it even block itself at that point.. Just explain me if I have to wait a lot for go on or it's a bug.. I HAVE TO KNOW how the game ends! :'(

VOEC responds:

I'm really sorry for that. That was a bug. It's unfortunate that it happened twice. :(
I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway and I apologize that you couldn't finish it.
