I've animated a Calvin and Hobbes strip, using Bill Watterson's drawings as keyframes.
Here's the original:
One of the best adaptions of the comics. Stays true to the original comics yet had perhaps some of the best smooth animtion transitions
I'd like to point out to ... ugh, "JesusHTwatbomb" that Watterson was NOT left off the credits, as he was credited at the very beginning of the animation, watch it again. However, I do agreee that the animation was smooth, clean, and it also stayed true to Watterson's original art style. I was hoping for impressive voice acting, but if you didn't have the right voice actors, then going for no voices was probably a much better choice. Overall, great work, I'd love to see more.
I hear Watterson shut ya down on this one. It was well done and brought back a few good memories. Hope you continue good work like this.
Very good, but very short. I think you nailed the style as well!
And to Dingo: Waterson disliked his creation being merchandised. He didn't want to see t-shirts, movies, tv spin offs, or things of that sort. There's absolutely nothing wrong with someone creating a piece of fan art/ animation with no intent on gaining revenue.
that was AWSOME
an animation about the /v/ board on 4chan.
