I really HATE wall jumping with a furious vengeance but thats my problem. Nice game though
I loved the style. I was able to identify, as well, some of the games you took inspiration from, but why to mention them?, some people don't realize the effort it takes to make a game.
I really liked the light interaction, it was awesome, the controls felt a bit rigid, but they were just perfect for the game.
I also liked the fact that, usually, when you upgrade your abilities, the game itself becomes insanely easy, but not in this one.
I wolud've liked to see more story, something to keep you interested in completing the game, and of course I wish you would've made it longer.
Cheers, and keep going.
Limbo is awesome. Minecraft is awesome. Cave Story and Meat Boy however are not! Should have not copycat the last two.
Hi, thanks for the feedback.
Although I get the Limbo reference, I fail to understand how this game is a Minecraft / Cave Story / SMB copycat... Tell me more.
Almost full marks. It's a compelling platformer, beautfully designed, responsive and deceptively simple.
The only detractor is that it's so bloody hard to control ones jetpacking skill, spikes everywhere.
This pulls from the casual games list, and becomes something that requires more effort than can be mustered in a coffee break.
Mind, you may not have designed as a casual game, or you may find it easy to control the rather erratic flight of our jet propelled robot chum - these things are subjective of course.
Some puzzling puzzles, rather than hair-trigger-responses-a-necessity wold be welcome.
Mind, that may be a whole different game altogether.
As it is, it's delicious, if nigh impossible for those of us with wibbly reflexes.
I liked it very much =)
