Creature Capture

Creature Capture is a fun and colorful fraction-based card game where the goal of the game is to own more of the board than your opponent! Players engage in both solo and multiplayer gameplay as they collect cards and build strategies. Opponents take turns playing their creature-themed cards to a central board, causing battles between opposing cards along the way. The victor of each battle is determined by one of three battle rules: largest number wins, smallest number wins, and closest number to ½ wins. Players can use power cards to augment any creature, allowing them to perform complex fraction-based arithmetic to win battles. Forthcoming features include both online and offline multiplayer, card collecting, and deck building.

디펜모드추가해요..

this game is probably pretty damn fun for lil' kids and helps them understand the nature of fractions, yet we are here on newgrounds, so this is probably not the best place for this game.
also, the animations are too god damn slow, consider adding a "skip animations" option.
if you want it to be more complex, add chain reactions (turned cards fight their neighbours).

CenterForGameScience responds:

Thanks for the suggestions! All animations can be skipped once you reach level 6.

The simple math is good, but can you put a fast forward button like 4 times the speed?

Not that entertaining for mature audiences. Although I do have to say it has great potential as a resource for teaching maths to early secondary school students. The animations might seem slow to me, but they will make them pesky youngsters intereted in fractions and what they mean!

For regular gamers 1/5
For secondary students 4.5/5

If you want to make it more engaging for adult gamers, why not make chain reactions happen?
i.e. Every time a card turns it fights its neighbours.

CenterForGameScience responds:

Chaining is a great idea! We are currently looking into a limited chaining mechanic as a reward when performing a really good move.

too slow paced. i get the concept. i wouldn't mind playing it.. but i'm held back by the ridiculously slow animations. it gets extremely frustrating.
