The classic game Pong returns from the darkness with it's new glow, laser glow!
Enjoy the most classic game there is but with so many improvements!

Okey but seriously, it's just regular Pong except the ball is glowing...

NOTE: I am not the original creator of the 1972 Pong game, I just spiced it up a bit.
Also this is my first Newgrounds submission, just to make everything clear!

EDIT: Thank you everyone for the feedback, if I decide to make a second version I'll try adding some sound effects and music and maybe add multiplayer mode!

first off, thanks for clearing up that you didn't make the original pong. With this being your first game, It was okay... Not much to it. Seeing that you want to make a second one, don't bother. Try to move in a more creative direction. Pong has been done to death and I doubt there's going to be much more you can add to the game. Give it some time and more experience with Programming and I'm sure you'll have something good. Good luck :)

To me, this is just regular pong like i've played it a hundred times (or more) already. I'm glad you wrote that it's regular pong with a glowing ball, but try adding a bit of your own spice into it. Like temporary upgrades. (could be paddle size increase as well as decrease, or ball speed and amount)

Try joggling a little around with new effects, and keep thinking: ''what could be awsome to have in pong.''

5 stars for knowing thyself.

In your edit it sounds like you have the right idea. Some over-the-top sound effects (like really over the top, sirens and bells and that sort of thing) would spice things up a bit. Controls are good, but maybe add a keyboard option if possible. Also, after playing for 6-7 minutes I realized only a "tipper" on the paddle will have any chance of getting a point. Either slow down opponent or (preferably) speed the ball up to allow for different winning angles. Altogether it was simple and yet better presented than some other first submissions I've played.

ah pong a simple yet fun game. I felt that everything was good with a few exceptions. First off when you score the ball should go into the center rather then just bouncing off. The laser effects were done with subtle, which I found was nice because too much colors would distract the player. Also I don't think there should be a mandatory score limit rather you could set the rules [how long, score, limit etc.] so over all it was a decent remake 3 stars
