The Ghost Pianist

A 3D piano duel between two ghost pianists that represents the legends Frederic Chopin and Ludwig Van Beethoven.
This project took 3 months of work.

The funny thing about this is that I animated the characters playing the exact keys for all three songs, but turned out that I wanted to focus more on the characters face than the piano keys. So I spent 2 weeks animating every key and barley showed it. Created in: 3D Studio Max

Music by: Kework Der Stepanian
Full version of the first song can be found at:

Vivi anyone? ^^

Animation and art is great, but the content is too short!
I was expecting for some back and forth or mash ups, but the Beethoven ghost was defeated too fast.

I liked the animation and the idea, although piano battle is not quite original. But the music had nothing to do with the animation. The black ghost should have played something more dark that spells disasters.

The animation is really good and although it was short, I can appreciate the effort put into it! I'd love to see more stuff like this!

It is going a little too sudden into the fight and I would have loved to see it last a little longer, maybe some more cool battle and destruction or a variation of songs, but love the idea and it definitely got some potential, 5 stars from me ;)

It's a great animation and great music, i just felt like you could've showed more of a battle between the 2 playing their different songs, the one destroying the senery while the other trys and fixes it. it could've been great if there was another minute to it of them fighting. thats just me tho. it just felt like it needed just a bit more to become a great animation, thats why theres a half of a star gone. only reason.
