The aliens are coming, and our traditional weapon systems are useless against their advanced technology. Humanity's last hope is to unveil the STAR GLAIVE, a prototype combat ship that can absorb and turn back the alien attacks.

Battle more than 30 boss ships by turning their own weapons against them. If that's not enough action, use the built-in boss editor to create challenges we couldn't dream of, then share them with friends or strangers and cackle in delight as they try to face your genius.

This game would be 300X better if collecting different color bullets resulted in a combination attack instead of overwriting

one problem, you need to be too close to the bullet to get it

Good concept.

But, the gameplay really suffered due to the fact that collecting even one bullet of a different color would erase all the previous bullets you'd collected. Waiting around for the right color of bullet to reappear and then getting frustrated when you're at 99% and accidentally collect the wrong color is not the gameplay I would want or expect from this concept. It would be one thing if collecting different colors merely prevented you from using the ultra attacks, but actually erasing your previously collected bullets is just too cheap and annoying.

The game has a very high replay value. The only thing that bugs me is that so much more could be mined out of this concept, especially in the editor, which is horribly limited for my wild imagination. I also lack the point in collecting "flower" weapons, as the only thing they can hit is the boss ship, which can be hit by pretty much anything. I'd put in something like swarm bay that spawns destructible drone fighters.

Anyway, I love this game, and here's the proof:

This mini-campaign was inspired by the alchemic tradition. I designed each boss stronger than the preceeding one, and I attempted to focus on gameplay, not difficulty.
